Ask & Answer is one of the most powerful tools in the HiPower Network. It’s where ambitions attract support, ideas gain perspective, and opportunities open. This is where success turns into significance.

This year, your Ask centers on your platform statement — the professional mission you’re advancing. By putting your platform to work, you don’t just showcase your purpose — you start shaping how your organization and the world see you in it. This is platform embodiment in action.

Dust it off, refine it, or start fresh — the goal is to make it matter to you. The impact doesn’t come from polish; it comes from clarity that grows as you put it to work. Permission granted if your platform statement is still in progress. Crafting your Ask builds focus. Submitting it energizes it. Sharing it unlocks connection, opportunity, and momentum.

Why It Matters

When we connect through purpose, our support expands beyond what’s asked. We start seeing and fueling each other’s deeper missions — creating opportunities none of us could spark alone.


Practicing your Ask strengthens your voice. It helps you articulate what you’re building, why it matters, and how it moves your work from success to significance.

What to Do

Before the Session

  • (Optional) Use the HiPower Ask Development Tool to refine your platform statement and frame your Ask.

  • Submit your Ask through the Google Form by November 1.

    • Submissions received by this date are guaranteed inclusion.

Later entries may be added as space allows.

During the Session

  • 1 minute: Present your Ask.

  • 2 minutes: Group clarifying questions.

  • Silent brainstorm: Members write offers of support on sticky notes and hand them to you.

  • Session closes early for real-time connection and follow-up.

after the Session

  • You’ll receive reminders to follow up and share gratitude.

  • We’ll capture success stories to celebrate collective impact.

Deadline: 11/1/25

Format

  1. Platform Statement: The work you’re advancing (draft or polished).

  2. Ask Sentence: “To move this forward in the next few months, I’d like to [specific request]. Who can help me?”

  3. Strategic Focus: Choose one:

    • Build Credibility

    • Expand Reach

    • Deepen Expertise

    • Create Connections

    • Test Ideas
