Susan Stick

Susan is the former Senior Vice President, People & Places as well as the General Counsel for Evernote, a leading note-taking and productivity app, where she led the company’s human resources, recruiting, workplace services, legal and compliance functions. As SVP People & Places, Susan drove substantial improvements in employee retention and satisfaction while helping the company navigate a downsizing and management team transition, a significant business and technical overhaul, a global pandemic and subsequent shift to a remote-forward, “work from anywhere” culture. During her leadership tenure, Evernote was recognized by Fortune Magazine as a “Great Place to Work” for 2021. In addition, as the Company’s general counsel, Susan helped lead Evernote’s effort to prepare for and execute a sale process, culminating in the company’s recently announced acquisition by Bending Spoons.

Before joining Evernote, Susan worked for 20+ years as a lawyer for technology companies and law firms in Silicon Valley. She was previously the general counsel for One Kings Lane, an ecommerce company backed by Kleiner Perkins and Greylock before its acquisition by a strategic buyer, and was a senior member of the Skype legal team during significant growth, acquisition by a PE-led consortium and subsequent sale to Microsoft. She is a pragmatic business partner and problem solver, with a track record proven in both high-growth and cash-constrained environments.
