Seasoned executive known for her strategic vision and passion for leading companies and highly effective teams through rapid growth, business turnarounds and transformation. Her extensive business operations and legal experience include overseeing finance and accounting, corporate development, legal, compliance, board governance, culture and talent, music licensing, and business practices. Sharon holds a dual degree in accounting and law and enjoys leveraging the intersection between the two to grow companies, teams and people and help them operate efficiently. She works closely with boards of directors and their committees to combine best practice governance with flexible business focused solutions.

Previously, Sharon was Chief Financial & Legal Officer at Smule – a Bessemer Ventures and Tencent backed company, revolutionizing how people from around the world connect & create music. Sharon leads the finance, music licensing and legal focus areas, including talent and culture.

Sharon was the EVP, General Counsel and Secretary at LifeLock (NYSE: LOCK), the leading identity theft protection provider, acquired by Symantec for ~$2.4 billion – following a competitive bidding process where Segev played an instrumental role. At LifeLock Segev helped raise the compliance and infosec bar and instituted board governance, while enabling the company to continuously innovate and excel, navigating through a highly regulated environment. Prior to LifeLock, Segev was the VP, Corporate Development & General Counsel at Elo Touch Solutions, a multinational hardware and software provider.  At Elo she built the legal department from the grounds up. Prior to Elo, Sharon was VP, Associate General Counsel at Cadence Design Systems (Nasdaq: CDNS). She launched career at leading firms such as Gibson Dunn.

Through different panels and speaking engagements Sharon often speaks about turning companies profitable, leadership and change management, strategic transactions and shareholder activism, legal contribution to business practices, IP protection, M&A and compliance.
