As the General Counsel, Jessica is responsible for driving the company's global legal strategy and ensuring that the business is protected while it grows and expands. With a proven track record in multiple legal disciplines, including litigation, commercial transactions, global compliance, and privacy initiatives, Jessica is a force to be reckoned with. She's known for her ability to overcome obstacles and simplify legal processes, always thinking outside of the box to find solutions that work for everyone. Jessica's legal journey began at Morrison and Foerster, a top law firm where she led litigation and counseling related to IP and employment. From there, she expanded her practice at Visa and Ruckus, two publicly traded companies, where she led complex negotiations, product launches, and regulatory matters. After that, Jessica moved into tech transactions and hasn't looked back. Jessica's leadership extends far beyond the legal world. She's a two-term President of Leading Women in Technology, a non-profit dedicated to empowering women to advance in their careers. Under her leadership, the organization grew from a single chapter with 50 members to four separate city chapters with an annual gain of 200 members. Jessica is now President of Hipower and continues to serve on the Board and plays an active role in the organization. So, whether she's in the courtroom or the boardroom, Jessica is a tenacious business partner who's always looking for new ways to push the boundaries and make a difference.
