Candice Tubera

Chief Operating Officer, EWF International

With a strong passion for mission driven organizations, community building, making an impact, and being a champion of positive change to create better communities and lives, Candice Tubera, has made it her purpose in life to find ways to make a difference in the world that we live in — personally and professionally.

Candice is currently the Chief Program Officer of UPWARD – a nonprofit organization with the mission to accelerate the advancement of women through diversity and inclusion member and corporate programs. Candice articulates and implements the strategic vision of the organization for scalability and sustainability, creates and oversees a portfolio of programs, manages global chapters and teams, initiates engagement with the company’s board of directors and key stakeholders, and drives the relationship of strategic partnerships.

During her career with UPWARD, Candice has held every director position within the organization, and has played a critical role in the scaling and growth of its community. Through the member and corporate programs that she has created and delivered, launching six global chapters, and three more chapters projected to launch in 2022, she has continued to create an empowering environment to help women, all over the world, to take their careers to the next level.

Candice is also the founder of  two nonprofit organizations — WWOW the World and R3demption Community. Through WWOW the WORLD, she led teams to various states for natural disaster relief and provided support for devastated communities. WWOW has also partnered with other local organizations across multiple states for community outreach and service.

R3demption Community has the mission to equip youth with mind, body, and spirit fundamentals to become future leaders. The organization also has the vision to bridge the relationships of families as the healthy foundation to empower the next generation to live the life of their dreams.

In her wide range of experience and expertise, Candice also boasts proficiency in marketing, graphic design, public speaking, mentorship programs, event execution and management, and social media management.

Previously, Candice was a Registered Respiratory Therapist working for a hospital for nearly 16 years. She led a financial literacy business for 6 years before starting her first nonprofit organization in 2016.

When Candice is not leading or creating new organizations to create positive change in the lives of others, she enjoys her family time with her husband, adult children, and fur-baby. Candice also regularly serves at her church in the children ministry, leads small groups, and is instrumental in outreach efforts.
