Noorjahan Rahman

Associate Attorney, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP

I'm a litigator and I’ve worked on class-action lawsuits involving companies like Zoom, Robinhood, and Slack. My work included oral argument, depositions, consultations with expert witnesses, cross examination of witnesses, arbitration, mediation, settlement negotiation, and development of litigation strategy. The lawsuits I worked on were for violations of privacy, misrepresentations in advertising, breaches of fiduciary duties, and material misstatements in securities filings.

My favorite part of lawyering is the "stand and deliver" aspect. I enjoy getting up in front of people and persuading them to adopt my point of view. To that end, I also really like analyzing the law, applying it to unique facts, and writing about it. Recently, I've been curious about how artificial intelligence is affecting our society, and the legal risks associated with it. I write about these issues on my personal website.

In addition to helping clients in an adversarial setting, like a lawsuit, I have counseled companies on ways to protect their legal and business interests in the changing landscape of new technologies. I can leverage my experience as a litigator to identify the legal exposure that arises from business operations and product design.

By the way, if you're curious about my header photo, I made it with Dall-E using the prompt "stained glass scales of justice"
