Krista Kim is the founding attorney of Valence Law Group, PC, a boutique law firm focused exclusively on real estate transactions, with an emphasis on commercial leasing. Krista’s practice encompasses a wide variety of commercial real estate transactional matters, though she specializes in handling the real estate needs of corporate clients with offices and locations throughout the United States. She negotiates commercial leases and subleases, construction and design contracts, as well as vendor agreements and other commercial contracts. Many of her clients are technology companies with a need to scale headcount while preserving flexibility. In addition to her leasing and corporate real estate practice, Krista also represents investors and end-users with the purchase and sale of all types of commercial property. Krista founded Valence in 2012 after practicing at a large law firm in San Francisco. Krista is most proud of the Valence team, which is very diverse and comprised of over 90% women. Krista received her B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000 and her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2004. Krista lives in the East Bay with her husband and three daughters.
