Currently the Director Of Digital Commerce at Rivian, Amanda has been working in the high technology industry in Silicon Valley for nearly twenty years. She is passionate about building world-class software products and solutions for mobile payments, mobile advertising and e-Commerce with Cloud, Big Data, AI/ML and Microservices technologies. Amanda was the principal software engineer at Ripple Labs, a San Francisco based startup that offers advanced blockchain technology for global payment. She was the chief architect of Huawei Pay at Huawei Device USA before joining Ripple Labs. Prior to Huawei Device USA, Amanda was a principal architect at Apple Inc., where she led the team to build the new mobile advertising platform for Apple News. She was a trusted and respected technology leader to build and evolve scalable technology platforms from the ground up. Prior to Apple Inc, Amanda was the principal solution architect of mobile payment at PayPal, where she led the team to build the first mobile payment application that still scales and drives the exponential growth of PayPal mobile payments today. The device fingerprinting service that she charted, significantly improves the risk and fraud management of mobile payments and provide the frictionless mobile payment experience. Amanda is the Co-Chair of AnitaB.org Software Engineering Committee, and a mentor of shedesigns.org. She is technical advisors to a few high growth Silicon Valley startups. An advocate of women in tech, she had served in the leadership committee of Women@Apple and eBay Women in technologies. In her spare time, Amanda is an avid ballet dancer.
