VP of Sales and Business Development, Atollogy
Ruth Aston is the VP of Sales and Business Development for Atollogy, a Silicon Valley start-up that provides a Smart Operations Platform that uses Vision, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to optimize efficiencies by digitizing physical operations in the manufacturing, yard management and aviation vertical markets. Ruth has over 25 years of tech sales experience, focused heavily in manufacturing but also in the financial and capital market segments. Her skill set spans both B2B, B2C, green field/emerging technology to large complex, multi-million-dollar contracts to Fortune 100 companies, and numerous 100%, President and Peak Performers Clubs. Ruth has built, led and managed teams throughout her career leading her to her current position in an exciting and fast growing, emerging market.
Ruth started her career with IBM in Cleveland, Ohio after completing her degree in International Business and Economics from John Carroll University. IBM moved her to the Silicon Valley which she now considers home. Passionate about education and learning new skills, Ruth has obtained her California Real Estate License, her Series 7, Series 66, Insurance licenses and is also a Certified Supply Chain Professional. In addition to having worked for IBM, Ruth is an alumnus of Informix, Morgan Stanley and Salesforce.
On weekends, you can find Ruth hiking with her labradoodle, Russell, working out, doing yoga, volunteering with National Charity League, or visiting one of her two college attending daughters. Ruth also has a love of travel having visited all 50 states and 30 countries and is fluent in a second language along with holding dual citizenship.
