Dharti Arora currently serves as a Danaher Business Systems Leader for Innovation, Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs at Cepheid. Wearing multiple hats, she has led multiple initiatives spanning capacity expansion, sustaining portfolio management, quality operations, clinical validation and DE&I. In her role she coaches and advises executives on strategy, functional performance and talent development.

Dharti has 21+ years’ experience in Program Management and Software Engineering in the Medical Device and Biotechnology industry. She started her career as a software test engineer at Applied Biosystems working on the development of the sequencers including the machine that sequenced the Human Genome. She transitioned into program management of microarrays releasing three products. She then worked at Abbott Diabetes Care as a Program Manager leading their Hospital and Retail Glucose meters programs and companion software for an insulin pump. She worked at Cepheid between 2010 and 2015 responsible for the MTB, virology and Flu programs including managing alliances like FIND released six products from concept through post launch. Dharti joined Willow in 2015, a consumer electronics medical device startup based in Mountain View, as Director of Program Management with the added responsibility as Mobile App lead before returning to Cepheid.

Dharti holds B.Sc. in Biosystems Engineering from University of California Davis and M.S. degree in Biomedical Lab Science from San Francisco State University. Dharti is a lifelong learner receiving certifications in programming, entrepreneurship and project management and holds a PMP certificate from the Project Management Institute.

In Dharti’s free time, she can be found volunteering as both Girl Scout Troop Leader and PTA Treasurer. She loves gardening, reading, cooking, yoga, and spending time with her family. She aspires to be a yoga instructor and UC Master Gardener one day.
