Carol Tate

Chief Compliance Officer, Intel Corp

Carol Tate serves as Intel’s Vice President & Chief Compliance Officer leading the company’s global Ethics & Legal Compliance Team and global network of Ethics & Integrity Champions. Carol co-chairs Intel’s Ethics and Compliance Oversight Committee and periodically reports to the Audit and Finance Committee of the Intel Board of Directors. Carol is also a 2021 Intel Achievement Award recipient.

Before joining Intel in 2016, Carol served as the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., the Vice President of Compliance & Investigations at Flextronics, and Senior Counsel at Motorola, Inc. Prior to going in-house, Carol served as a Senior Attorney in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and worked as a commercial litigation attorney in the law firms of Wildman Harrold and Thompson Coburn, LLP.

Carol received her B.A. from Tufts University and J.D. from Boston College Law School. Carol was featured in the Wall Street Journal in 2022 for her role as Intel’s VP & Chief Compliance Officer.
