Starting in 2004 as a high-touch, executive coaching and leadership development firm, today LSLA provides executive leadership and peer group coaching and training programs based on its trademarked "I Know System" and the Assess. Act. Achieve. methodology. In early 2024, the company launched its signature blended learning program designed to introduce senior/director-level executives to professional coaching at half the cost and less engagement time. The "Assess, Act and Achieve Your Way into That Next Promotion” combines self-paced learning with individual and peer group leadership coaching over 3-months, enabling high-potential and high-performing leaders to begin the development process for promotion, expanded leadership roles and additional growth opportunities.

As an Executive Coach for more than 20 years, Loretta has had the privilege of serving business professionals at all leadership levels who want to actively engage in their own professional development, as well as grow their staff and teams. She has also coached a multitude of leaders who are in, or on their way to the C-suite, serving first and foremost as a trusted advisor to provide objective and knowledgeable feedback and new ways of working. Loretta’s coaching approaches enable these leaders and teams to build a new awareness of how they can more effectively inspire, operate and inter-relate in their organizations. Having worked extensively in the healthcare, technology, finance, higher-education philanthropy, and bio-tech industries, Loretta has delivered leadership coaching to professionals and teams in large corporate and start-up environments alike. As an outcome of the 2020 pandemic, she has enhanced her training as a corporate wellness coach and developed an expertise in the causes and remedies for anxiety and burnout in the workplace, helping leaders develop strategies and programs for identifying causes and symptoms and building resilience. She is also certified in Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid.

Prior to becoming an Executive Coach, Loretta spent 20+-years leading the public and investor relations, marketing communications, and customer acquisition functions for start-up, turnaround and large global companies in Silicon Valley. As a VP of Marketing in the early years of the Internet, she orchestrated multi-million-dollar marketing and brand development campaigns for object-oriented application development, voice-over-Internet (VOIP) video gaming, and online photo-sharing companies that fundamentally changed the way consumers and businesses use technology.

Loretta is certified as a professional coach from Corporate Coach University/Coach U and has completed several years of leadership training at the Institute for Generative Leadership. She is accredited with the International Association of Coaches, Therapists and Mentors (IACTM) and certified in variety of academic-based psychometric tools and organizationally oriented behavioral assessment programs. She holds a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations from San Jose State University.

A strong advocate for women’s leadership, Loretta serves as a Guide for several Core groups in CHIEF, a nationwide organization dedicated to advancing and keeping women in the C-Suite. She also serves on the leadership council of Rise Up (Riseuptogether.org) a global non-profit dedicated to promoting education, gender equality and reproductive rights for women and girls in 13 countries including the US. She has raised two amazing adult children with her husband in the northern California bay area.
