As the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Lisa Tawil spearheads brand management and marketing initiatives for ITVS co-productions and the Emmy Award-winning PBS series, Independent Lens. With 15 years of entertainment expertise, Lisa has a proven track record of leading record-breaking consumer campaigns for esteemed networks such as National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, and PBS.

In her current role, Lisa is dedicated to maximizing the impact of programs in communities by employing innovative marketing content strategies that intersect with cultural conversations. She also oversees the distribution unit, skillfully navigating the rapidly changing media landscape to enhance visibility and redefine audiences through platform adoption.

Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, Lisa Tawil is a respected industry figure, serving as a judge for prestigious awards including the Creative Emmys, News and Doc Emmys, Promax, and the Webby's. Actively engaged in the industry, she is a member of the Television Academy, WICT, Women in Film, Promax, and NAMIC.

Lisa extends her commitment to the global media community by currently serving on the board of INPUT, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening worldwide collaboration among public media makers and programmers. Additionally, she contributes to the local chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications in Northern California as the Vice President on the board.
