Erin-Kate Whitcomb, an international best-selling author, has had senior leadership roles in business operations for over 25 years in wildly diverse industries including Healthcare, Investment Banking/Finance, Hospitality/Travel Management and Licensed Tech. She has also excelled in teaching in academic settings (university, high school/college prep and arts curriculum development and delivery for K-8), while also providing training and executive coaching in the business space. For the past decade, she acted as full-time and/or fractional Head of Sales in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) space.

Realizing how much she knew about business operations, sales and leadership, she was challenged and encouraged by colleagues to use her powers for good. In fall 2019, Erin-Kate started HiveMind Strategies LLC, DBA Working Courage. Through HMS, Erin-Kate is passionate about serving entrepreneurs in the CPG space to get to revenue-generation faster and avoid the many landmines of the expensive and frustrating trial-and-error methods of growth. With an expert focus on efficiency, EK helps companies and their leaders to pull all of the levers available to exceed goals, with a focus on creating and sustaining cultures of support. Her expertise includes analyzing operational functions, improving efficiency by using reliable automation, along with repeatable and situationally-creative problem-solving processes.

As of February 2023, Erin-Kate has secured speaking gigs in LA, New York, Washington DC, focused on Leadership Development, Choosing Supplier Partners and the Art and Science of internal employee promotions. Her best-selling book “Good Work: How Gen X and Millennials are the Dream Team for Doing Good When Collaborating Well” launched in May 2023, garnering best seller status in 11 business categories. Since then, she has been featured on panels, podcasts, provided trainings and corporate keynote speeches incorporating many elements of promoting generational diversity at work.

As a professional actor, Erin-Kate has supplied her voice for hundreds of radio and industrial jobs, worked onstage as an award-winning actress/comedienne/singer. She has also appeared in TV and film for the past 35 years. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity Association and American Guild of Variety Artists. Once in a while, she also coaches actors for drama and musical theatre auditions, and can be found singing in the occasional benefit gala.
