Jenny is a Boston, MA-based startup executive with extensive experience in newsrooms and digital publications. Since 2013, she has served as Chief Content Officer of Newsela, an instructional content platform and one of the fastest-growing K-12 education technology companies. She previously worked under the tightest deadlines in the news business as a reporter for Bloomberg and Reuters specializing in finance and economic coverage. As a freelancer she reported on airline and hotel industry news for Travel + Leisure magazine. She later worked as a content marketing consultant for a number of finance industry companies including Fidelity, Mint, American Express and Citibank. As a volunteer for the India Literacy Project, she helped establish a lending-library for area elementary schools in Hyderabad. In Silicon Valley she served as a judge for Startup Weekend Edu.

Jenny has a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and is a proud alumna of Wellesley College
