Shani Higgins joined Technorati in 2007 to launch and lead strategy and day-to-day operations including sales and business development. In 2008, the company launched an ad network giving a marketing voice to the independent web and offering a way for top brands to tap into their influence in meaningful ways. In 2010, the company turned profitable and in 2011 Shani took over as CEO. Under her leadership, Technorati has evolved from an advertising service business to a key programmatic powerhouse that empowers publishers through proprietary technology to find the most valuable advertising opportunities on an impression by impression basis. Today, Technorati represents over 1,000 important web publishers and recently made the top 20 list in Pixelate’s Global Seller Trust Index.
