Sara Leoni has more than 20 years of management, marketing and operations experience building strong online brands for both major corporations and startups. Before becoming CEO of GreenFig, Sara served as CEO of Rafter, a $50M course material management company that served hundreds of colleges around the country with innovative solutions, saving students a half a billion dollars on their course material expense.
Her extensive marketing expertise includes a senior leadership position at Cafepress, where she was instrumental in growing revenue to more than $100 million. As head of marketing for Yahoo! Personals, she helped the dating site woo singles and catapult the brand to the number-one visited dating site in 2007. Before Yahoo!, she served as a director of marketing at financial services innovator E*TRADE.
Sara is an incredibly passionate, inspirational leader who thrives on building, focusing and motivating high-performing teams to solve big programs and deliver significant growth in high-impact businesses. Her focus on team and highly competitive nature stems from her collegiate softball career where Sara received 2nd Team All-American accolades as UNLV's centerfielder.
Aside from her incredibly busy day job, Sara has 5 boys and an amazing lifelong partner, Giovanni. Her boys (2 of which are stepsons) range from age 7 to 33. The family loves to travel, ski, hike and partake in seriously wicked nerf gun wars.
