Podcast Host, Advice to My Younger Me

Sara Holtz is passionate about helping women succeed in the workplace.

Sara is the host of the Advice to My Younger Me podcast (www.tomyyounger.me). The podcast draws on the wisdom of those who have gone before to help younger professional women achieve career success. She provides keynote presentations and interactive workshops to women’s groups on the skills needed for women to thrive in the workplace.

Prior to launching the Advice to My Younger Me podcast, Sara founded ClientFocus, a business development coaching and training company that worked exclusively with women lawyers to help them become rainmakers. For over 20 years, she trained and coached women partners from the leading law firms in the U.S. and Canada to help them grow their practices. She literally wrote the book on rainmaking: Bringin’ in the Rain: A Woman Lawyer’s Guide to Business Development. She is the recipient of the American Bar Association’s prestigious Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award in recognition of the impact that her work has had on the success of women lawyers.

Prior to founding ClientFocus, Sara served as Vice President and General Counsel for Nestlé Beverage Company and Division Counsel for the Clorox Company. The first woman ever to chair the Association of Corporate Counsel, Sara was honored by the State Bar of California for her outstanding leadership of the in-house legal community.

Sara graduated magna cum laude from Yale College and cum laude from Harvard Law School.
