Head of Risk Partnership, Uber
Grace is the Head of Risk Partnership at Uber. She has many years of experience in the banking and FinTech industries. She was the Head of Risk for the Americas and Global Key Accounts at Ant Financial (Alipay). In this role, she enabled digital wallet and payment acceptance for Global merchants to expand in China and South East Asia countries, which provided her with the opportunity to bridge cross-cultural differences between partners in the United States and Asia and build top performing teams from the ground up in those countries.
Prior to Ant Financial/Alipay, Grace was a Senior Director at Visa/Cybersource and was responsible for various product leadership roles including the Cybersource business portal, which is used by many of the Fortune 500 companies. Prior to moving from Hong Kong to the U.S., Grace was Vice President of Credit Risk at HSBC.
Grace graduated from Michigan and was one of the few selected ones to represent the Wolverine Venture Fund to make investment decision on start ups across health care and technology sectors.
Grace is passionate about building teams from the ground up, and encouraging her staff to be more confident in the personal and professional lives to get them out of their comfort zones, so they can realize their full potential.
