Corporate Counsel, Oracle
Gina is a technology licensing professional with over 12 years experience working to address a wide-variety of legal, licensing, policy, compliance and management matters within a range of companies including consulting, legal and global enterprise software companies. Gina serves as Corporate Counsel for Oracle’s Commercial Legal Group and is responsible for providing legal negotiation support and advice on a wide variety of Oracle transactions and agreements. Prior to this role, Gina also served as Director of Oracle's License Management Services (LMS) Group which helps Oracle customers manage their Oracle licensing and investment. Prior to joining Oracle, Gina was part of Price Waterhouse Coopers' Dispute Analysis & Investigations Advisory Group and lead teams to work in partnership with client law firms in litigation and other legal action or investigations and established herself as a software compliance subject matter expert working in a large variety of client licensing scenarios in adversarial, high-stakes compliance negotiations representing various technology clients. Gina has lead global licensing engagements in South America, Central America, Europe and Asia Pacific and has supported large, worldwide organizations on a multi-regional global scale.
Gina is Chairperson for Oracle’s Employee Resource Group Hispanic Oracle Leadership Association (HOLA) leading the mission to expand the network and professional opportunities for Oracle employees who have an interest in the Hispanic/Latino culture. Gina is committed to giving back to the community and sits on the Board of MidPen Housing, a non-profit with the mission to provide safe, affordable housing to those in need while also establishing stability and opportunities for residents. Gina also serves on the Board of Opportunity Fund, a non-profit serving small business owners with micro-loans and low-income students with micro-saving opportunities. Gina was also a founding member of Leading Women in Technology (LWT) a non-profit organization in Silicon Valley with the mission of unleashing the potential of women professionals who advise technology businesses and executives.
Gina lives in San Francisco and enjoys running, golfing, traveling and keeping up with her two children. Gina received her J.D. and M.B.A from Arizona State University and her B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Finance from the University of Arizona.
