Elizabeth Dean is a Vice President and founding member of TM Financial Forensics, LLC with 25 years of experience providing forensic accounting, business consulting and valuation services to companies and their counsel. Elizabeth has experience analyzing financial issues on a broad range of matters including commercial damages, energy/utility, class action, intellectual property, forensic accounting, antitrust and unfair competition, labor and employment, and business consulting matters. Analytical and detail oriented, Elizabeth has been highly effective at assisting clients in identifying relevant information and preparing financial and accounting analyses. An effective oral communicator, she has presented the results of her analysis to senior management as well as testified as an expert in Federal and State courts and in U.S. and international arbitrations.
Elizabeth has been an active member of a number of organizations targeted at mentoring and developing women in business particularly related to the legal and accounting industries. These experiences have helped broaden her perspective on effective ways to increase and sustain the participation of women in business. Elizabeth serves on the Advisory Board of the Berger Institute for Work, Family and Children at Claremont McKenna College, which is a leading source of research on significant issues impacting the intersection between work and family.
Elizabeth graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 1988 with a dual major in Mathematics and Economics. Elizabeth completed the University of California at Berkeley’s Technology Transfer Program in 1995. In addition, Elizabeth holds several industry certifications including Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Certified in Financial Forensics and Certified Licensing Professional.
